target joint: A joint that bleeds frequently. Such joints often develop arthritis due to bleeding damage.

thrombocytopenia: A lack of blood platelets.

thromophilia: Blood disorders caused by excessive clotting.

vasoconstriction: When a blood vessel constricts to reduce blood flow to a wound.

von Willebrands Disease: A hemophilia-like bleeding disorder caused by abnormal platelet activity. The most common bleeding disorder in both sexes.
